About the Ball

A sellout in its inaugural year, the Fairy Tale Ball will be held Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center on Highway 280 East. Children and adults will be able to dance the night away with fairy tale characters like

• Cinderella
• Big Bad Wolf
• Jack (and his Beanstalk)
• Goldilocks and the Three Bears
• Sleeping Beauty
• and a host of others!

Guests will also enjoy

• magicians, jugglers, stilt walkers and other whimsical entertainment
• music by Tekneek
• hors d’oeuvres
• cocktails for grown-ups
• a Superman candy “bar”, sponsored by Soho Sweets
• and a silent auction.

The gala, presented by the Junior Board of Childcare Resources, will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Proceeds from the ball will benefit the children and families served by Childcare Resources.

Honorary Chair

Phillip Pope, CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, along with his wife, Linda, and their grandchildren, will serve again this year as honorary chairs.

Tickets

Tickets are $130 for a family of four with up to two adults and $15 per additional child (age 12 and under). Individual adult tickets are $65.
