Childcare Resources' inaugural Fairy Tale Ball was a tremendous success! A sold-out crowd at The Club in Birmingham enjoyed dancing, fairy tale and whimsical characters, and a silent auction. Other highlights of the evening were a royal "conga line" honoring event sponsors, the awakening of Sleeping Beauty, "The Twist" performed by stilt walkers, and the presentation of the H.E.R.O. Awards for outstanding child care providers.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama CEO Phillip Pope, along with his wife, Linda, and their grandchildren, served as honorary chairs of the event, leading a very successful corporate sponsorship campaign. Childcare Resources would like to thank the Popes, the generous sponsors, the Childcare Resources Junior Board and staff, and the community for their overwhelming support of this event.
