Childcare Resources' training is taught by individuals who have worked in the child care field as teachers and administrators. They understand your challenges and responsibilities. Sessions are interactive, informative and FUN. Training is available week-days, evenings, and Saturdays.

Childcare Resources is proud to be the recipient of IACET's 2004 Exemplar Award.

Every training session is:

  • Evaluated for Continuing Education Unit (CEU) approval
    • Sessions that offer CEU’s have met a rigorous review process in accordance with IACET guidelines
  • Related to one of the Department of Human Resources (DHR) Categories of Study, Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential categories and Alabama Pathways Core Knowledge Areas (CKA)
  • Convenient, affordable and effective
    • Participants are provided a certificate for each session that documents attendance, session title, content area, contact hours and CEU’s (if applicable)

The Alabama Early Learning Guidelines (AELG) are a guide to the building blocks necessary to prepare each child for future success in school and life and intended to be inclusive of all children. The Alabama Early Learning Guidelines are a result of a collaboration of The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) and various stakeholders across the state.
