Easy Breakfast Recipes to Make When You Join our Virtual Champions for Children Charity Breakfast

Updated: Apr 21, 2020

We've put a list together of quick and easy breakfast recipes to start your day on the right foot with us! We hope you will try one of these when you join us for our free, VIRTUAL Champions for Children Charity Breakfast event on Thursday, April 23 at 8:30 am.

  • Grab a thick slice of toast, mash an avocado with salt and pepper, and spread it onto the toast. Top with sliced tomatoes, crushed red pepper, lemon juice or anything of your choosing to add extra flavor!

  • Toast + Egg = Perfect Breakfast Combo! Heat up a skillet with a slice of butter and cut out the middle of your toast to make a circle. Lay the bread in the heated skillet and then crack the egg into the center, letting the egg cook most of the way through. Flip once to cook the toast to your preference, add salt and pepper, and enjoy!

  • If you have fresh fruit, granola, and your favorite yogurt flavor, you’ve got the ingredients for the perfect breakfast yogurt parfait! Start by layering your yogurt, fresh cut fruit, and a sprinkle of granola into a cup until full. Top it off with honey or whipped cream for extra sweetness!

  • A mixed berry smoothie is an easy and delicious choice for breakfast! Use about a cup of fresh or frozen mixed berries, and blend with almond milk and greek yogurt. If you have leftovers, put them in the freezer for an afternoon snack with your children!

  • Calling all coffee lovers! Have you heard the latest trend? Whipped coffee is a delicious, coffee shop style coffee that you can make and enjoy from home. Start with one tablespoon (equal parts) of instant coffee, sugar, and warm water. Whisk or mix until the mixture is creamy and frothy. You will notice the color of the mixture getting lighter as you whisk. Grab a glass of ice and pour in oat milk, almond milk, or any milk of your preference. Spoon the coffee mixture over your glass and enjoy! You can also serve warm with frothed milk. Pair this with your breakfast and show off your barista skills with your friends, and then invite them to join us on Thursday for our Champions for Children Virtual Breakfast Event.

Our first-ever virtual fundraising event will be an inspirational morning that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home. Whether you try one of our recipes or create your own, share it with us in comment section on Thursday, April 23 at 8:30 am. Don’t forget to register to attend here.
