Childcare Resources is excited to partner with the Birmingham Public Library to present the Citywide Resource Fair on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. This FREE event is open to the public to learn about various resources, employment opportunities, and services available to the Birmingham community.
The Citywide Resource Fair will provide the opportunity to learn about services and organizations related to early childhood education, career assistance, housing, college resources, and much more. Over 40 community-based organizations will be in attendance, including Childcare Resources and Childcare Resources' Head Start Program.
Our team will have information for parents or caregivers in need of assistance finding or affording high-quality child care options for their children. Those in attendance can also learn about and submit an application for Childcare Resources' Head Start Program.
Complimentary lunches, door prizes, giveaways, and more will be available to the public. There will also be children's activities, such as arts and crafts, for children accompanying their parents to the fair.
Other exhibitors include community-based organizations with resources for health screenings, legal assistance, low-income assistance, financial planning, and much more.
