LEADERSHIP IN CHILD CARE SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship, which is made available from funding from the Alabama Department of Human Resources, provides students with the opportunity to pursue several credentials and degrees in Child Development/Early Care and Education/Early Childhood Education studies at an Alabama community college or Athens State University. Alabama's community colleges seek to provide students with quality education in order to provide the skills and knowledge needed to teach and work with children ages 0-5. If you work in a licensed or licensed-exempt child care facility in the state, you may qualify for the Leadership in Child Care Scholarship to help pay for your education.
