ALABAMA INFANT TODDLER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT NETWORK
The broad goal of the Alabama Infant Toddler Professional Development Network is to improve the quality of care for infants and toddlers in Alabama. AITPDN offers the opportunity for personal mentoring and coaching, technical assistance, professional development and guidance for infant and toddler teachers, as well as support for directors in centers and family child care homes as it relates to infant-toddler care.

Our highly qualified Infant-Toddler Educational Specialists improve the quality of early childhood care by increasing the skills and education level of infant and toddler teachers starting with the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and going beyond.

LEADERSHIP IN CHILD CARE SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship, which is made available from funding from the Alabama Department of Human Resources, provides students with the opportunity to pursue several credentials and degrees in Child Development/Early Care and Education/Early Childhood Education studies at an Alabama community college or Athens State University. Alabama’s community colleges seek to provide students with quality education in order to provide the skills and knowledge needed to teach and work with children ages 0-5. If you work in a licensed or licensed-exempt child care facility in the state, you may qualify for the Leadership in Child Care Scholarship to help pay for your education.

T.E.A.C.H. provides scholarships, one-on-one counseling, and connections with the best available resources to help remove any barriers to finishing their education.
