The Alabama Professional Development Registry (PDR) is a new system that allows early care and education professionals to register for professional development opportunities and obtain resources to enhance their knowledge and skills.
In accordance with Licensing Performance Standards, all licensed providers in the State of Alabama are required to participate in the PDR and must be enrolled in the system by September 1, 2022.
The PDR is designed to track the professional development of the child care workforce which includes all training and education components needed to meet the requirements of the licensing performance standards, CCDF health and safety, Alabama Early Learning Guidelines, CDA standards, and QRIS.
