Childcare Resources hosted another informative and engaging Coffee with ED meeting with our Executive Director (aka ED), Joan Wright earlier this month. We were thrilled to welcome Kellie Holcomb, Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education QRIS Administrator, to answer questions and discuss the changes to the QRIS System and what it means for Alabama child care programs.

With all of the changes to the QRIS System for Alabama, we understand that there might still be questions regarding applications for a STAR 2 or higher. Alabama Quality Stars began hosting a series of virtual meetings to allow programs to ask questions and get answers from the QRIS specialists who will be conducting the assessments.
